A Return Trip to The Islands

What a thrill it was to be back on the Isles of Scilly, an outcrop of Islands just 28 miles

from mainland Britain with it's white sandy beaches and clear waters, and not forgetting

the tropical Abbey Gardens on Tresco Island.

In fact as soon as I arrived at the Islands I jumped straight into an outer Island boat and headed

straight for Tresco.

And what a thrill it was to be back in Cornwall after a gap of five years, not to mention not being

able to go during the three years of Covid.

Somehow I knew the weather was going to be on our side being the month of May. And it was

indeed sun everyday, which is not always the case when visiting in September when Autumn

is in the air.

So for now just a few holiday pictures from The Islands. And so looking forward to returning to

Cornwall later this Summer.
